Pankaj Srivastava is Professor of Applied Physics in ABV- Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management, Gwalior (MP). He did his M.Sc. (Physics) from SOS in Physics, Jiwaji University, Gwalior in 1992 and Ph.D. on “The Physical Properties of Semiconducting Surfaces” from Physics Department, Central University of Allahabad in 1998. He has more than 21 years of teaching and research experience. He is teaching Applied Physics, Quantum computing and digital electronics to UG and PG classes. He has worked at International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy in the Condensed Matter theory group. His current area of research is computational Nanoscience investigating various physical properties of nanostructures, nanomaterials employing first-principles approach. Dr. Srivastava is also working in the area of Quantum Computing and Nanoelectronics. He has till now published more than 217 research papers in reputed international and national journals, conferences and seminars out of which 108 research papers has been published in international journals of repute.To his credit he is expertise in theoretical modeling and simulation of various nanomaterial’s and has produced 09 Ph.D.’s till date and 03 are pursuing. He has written 02 books from Lambert publishing and CRC Press and contributed 4 chapters in various international books. He has supervised more than 90 MTech thesis till now. He has been awarded various national scholarships & fellowships of UGC, DST and ISRO. He is member of many professional and academic bodies viz. ISTE-New Delhi, ICTP-Italy, MRSI-Bangalore. He is reviewer of many reputed journals. He has delivered invited talks in Italy, Hong Kong, UK, Ireland, Singapore and others. His Nanomaterials Research Group is investigating various physical properties of nanomaterials for their potential application in nanoelectronics and sensors. He has completed 08 major research projects sponsored by AICTE, DST-SERB, CSIR, DRDO, New Delhi. He has established a startup named SHAASTRA AUTOMATION LLP-(LLP Identification No. AAJ-2731, 2017), at ABV-IIITM, Gwalior and got national Patent on “Auto-Dimmer Device”, Indian patent Application No. 3966/MUM/2015 on 12 July 2018.

Currently, we are working on electronic, transport and diffusion properties of energy-storage materials. In this area we have published four (4) research papers and one book chapter contribution viz S. Upadhyay and P.
