    • Project Title: Implementation of Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) Using VHDL

         Project Organization: ASTRA, Hyderabad, India

         Year: 2009

         Duration: 3 months

    Project Description: In this project, a UART has been designed for serial data communication. Various blocks of UART are modeled in VHDL. The design is functionally verified by simulating the code. The FPGA synthesis is done using Xilinx ISE tool.

     

    • Project Title: Design of Radar Waveform Generator based on DDS system using VHDL

         Project Organization: ASTRA Microwave Product Limited, Hyderabad, India

         Year: 2009-2010

         Duration: 6 months

    Project Description: The purpose of the project is to create a continuous wave (CW) analog signal generator for Advanced Radar Techniques Equipment Microwave Integrated Systems (ARTEMIS). It will be used to simulate a Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) used in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).

    • Project Title: Triangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna for Wireless Applications

         Project Organization: IIT(ISM)-Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India

         Year: 2014-2015

         Duration: 1 Year

    Project Description: In this project, four elements triangular dielectric resonator antenna has been designed for wireless application specifically for C-band applications and WiMAX and WLAN frequency band. Further dual segment approach has been imposed on them for bandwidth enhancement. The designing part has been completed through Ansoft HFSS and CST Microwave Studio simulation software and further it has been fabricated for measurement.

     

    • Project Title: Multi-element Multi-segment Dielectric Resonator Antennas for Wireless Applications

         Project Organization: IIT(ISM)-Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India

    Sponsored Organization: Directorate of Extramural Research & Intellectual Property Rights     (ER&IPR), DRDO, India

        Year: 2014- 2017

    Duration: 3 Years

    Project Description: In this project, sectored cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (CDRA) has been developed as multi-element multi-segment DRA for wireless application. The sectored CDRA has been multi-segment for bandwidth and gain enhancement. The mathematical analysis has been performed and through Ansoft HFSS and CST Microwave Studio simulation software it has been designed. Each of the designed antennas has been fabricated and measured.
