Mr. Abhishek Sharma who is the Adjunct Faculty, Professor, in the Dept of Management Studies at ABV Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management, Gwalior is also the founder & Managing Director of Beyond Evolution Tech Solutions (P) Ltd, a company that is into developing innovative IOT Solutions and large Systems Integration solutions. Mr. Sharma has more than 50 years of global experience of managing Systems, Projects and entire Business Units, working in the domain of high-end ICT technologies such as IoT, IT, fundamental electronics, Radar & Satellite Systems, Missile Navigation, Avionics, Mobile Network, IT applications & services and System Integration projects.

Prior to founding BETS, Mr. Sharma has worked with TATA Group at senior positions. He was Country Head for Telecom and Govt Divisions at Tata Infotech Ltd(now TCS), Director Tata Telecom (GSM BH Roll out) for Maharashtra, Gujrat & Goa. He was also MD of Globacom, a Mobile company in Nigeria. Mr Sharma has also served in the Indian Air Force for about 23 years managing various high-end systems. Taking retirement at the rank of “Wing Commander”, he last worked At Air HQ, as Joint Director (Projects).

Mr. Sharma has also been associated with EU-India Projects e.g. “Building International Cooperation on Trust worthy ICT (BIC)” (http://www.bic-trust.eu) where he was member of International Advisory Group (IAG). Another important EU-India project called FI-Media, was on establishing international cooperation between the Industry - Academia clusters on IoT technology of EU and India.

Mr. Sharma is a B.E. in Electronics & Telecom Engg, M.E. in Computer Sc & Automation. CSA, IISc, Bangalore and Masters in Management Studies(MMS) from College of Defence Management, Secunderabad.

He is respected as an expert on ICT Industry, IoT/ Smart Systems, Business & Programme Management.
