SAC Technical Cell promotes a culture of technology, innovation and continuous learning at ABV-IIITM Gwalior. The cell coordinates with technical clubs and student communities to organize hackathons, technical competitions, coding and problem-solving activities, and other innovation-driven events. It also supports major initiatives such as the Smart India Hackathon (SIH), providing students with opportunities to work on real-world problems, collaborate in teams and develop practical technical skills. Through these activities, the Technical Cell encourages students to explore emerging technologies, build projects and transform innovative ideas into solutions.

 

AASF — Abhigyan Abhikaushalam Students’ Forum

AASF (Abhigyan Abhikaushalam Students’ Forum) is a peer-learning community at ABV-IIITM that promotes collaborative learning, technical exploration, and knowledge sharing among students. The forum provides a platform for students to learn from one another through workshops, discussions, competitions, and hands-on activities. AASF also organizes Winter Projects, where students work with experienced guides during the winter vacation to develop practical projects and strengthen their technical skills, as well as Mock Interviews, which simulate real-world interview experiences and help students prepare for technical and professional recruitment processes. AASF has historically conducted a large number of student-led learning activities and publishes Abhishar, its annual magazine, providing students with an additional platform to showcase their ideas, experiences, and creativity.

 

IEEE Student Community

The IEEE student community at ABV-IIITM provides students with opportunities to engage with technology, engineering, and professional development. Through technical activities, knowledge-sharing initiatives and collaborative programmes, the community encourages students to explore emerging areas of technology while developing professional and interpersonal skills. It also provides a platform for students to connect their academic learning with the wider engineering and technology community.

 

Google Developer Groups (GDG)

Google Developer Groups (GDG) On Campus – ABV-IIITM Gwalior is a student-led developer community focused on helping students learn, build, and collaborate with modern technologies. The community organizes technical workshops, hands-on sessions, hackathons, ideathons, study jams, tech talks, and skill-building events across domains such as Google Cloud, AI/ML, Web Development, Android, Flutter, Open Source, Game Development, and Cybersecurity. GDG provides students with opportunities to learn from experts and peers, work on practical projects, explore emerging technologies, and collaborate on innovative solutions. Recent initiatives include Google Cloud Study Jam, GDG SkillSprint, developer-focused workshops, and innovation challenges, with activities designed to foster technical excellence, creativity, networking, and a strong developer community on campus.
