Objectives and Activities
The objective of this laboratory is to conduct research in: i) image registration; ii) image compression; iii) image restoration; iv) image segmentation; v) medical image analysis; vi) information retrieval from image database; vii) semantic based image and video processing; viii) fuzzy image processing; ix) pattern recognition and image classification; x) chromosome classification, and xi) motion analysis.
These areas of activity are designed for students of 5th and 9th IPG semesters.
Infrastructure
Hardware installations of this laboratory include personal computers, workstations, and printers. Software tools comprise MATLAB and IDL.
Room D-115 is the location of this laboratory.
