Admission :
Admission is done through GATE followed by Personal Interview.
The institute imparts technical education to the best among engineering graduates from core areas of computer science, electronics& telecommunication engineering. While traditional computer education focuses on functional lines, the hallmark of M.Tech. (ICT) programme is to develop technologically competent ICT professional in today's ICT centric scenario.
Graduates are trained to develop a well balanced insight into various cutting edge technologies and interpersonal leadership skills that enable them to manage complexities in IT industries by emphasizing on goal oriented teamwork.
The uniqueness of the M. Tech. (ICT) programme lies in the fact that, though technology development in the students is a major focus , a lot of emphasis is laid on developing their technical skills as well as managerial skills. The one year thesis that the students do during the final year forms an important part of the curriculum. It includes work on the live industry projects, application development or research in various areas of Database Management, Computer Networks and Software Engineering, Armed with such profound and exhaustive knowledge of the latest technologies, the students are a step ahead of others.
