As founder Director of IIITM, Gwalior, an Apex Institute of Ministry HRD, GOI established in 1996 specifically in the cusp areas of IIT and IIM to integrate to develop Leadership manpower in the area of IT and management in an integrated manner, have been responsible to establish the Institute from the scratch. The Institute achievements under his leadership starting from 1998 till date are as follows:

  • IIITM Gwalior stands among Top 25 Engineering Colleges in India.(25th in the Top Best Professional Colleges in India by Outlook-MDRA Survey 2010: India’s Best Professional Colleges) and India Today Survey 2012
  • IIITM Gwalior Awarded Dewang Mehta Business School Awards for Best IT curriculum in B -schools (Got 18th Business School Affairs & Dewang Mehta Business School Awards)
  • Our Chairman Dr. M N Buch is honored with PADMA BHUSHAN.(2010-11)
  • IIITM Gwalior now ISO 9001-2008 Certified Institution
  • IIITM Gwalior stands among Top 25 Engineering Colleges in India
  • IIITM Gwalior Awarded Dewang Mehta Business School Awards for Best IT curriculum in B-schools
  • IIITM Gwalior got A++ Rank in Best B-Schools Survey 2010 by Business India
  • IIITM ranked 38 by MBA Universe.com in Best B Schools of India
  • Started five new and innovative programmes of MBA , M.Tech. and PhD and a Dual Degree Postgraduate Integrated Programme.
  • Visioning, designing and construction of the Institute campus on 60 hectares land. Hostels, academic, teaching areas and administrative buildings are completed.
  • Developing and designing new academic programme with dynamic Curriculum
  • Establishing all rules and regulations, creating new models for the Industry and Industrial links.
  • Institute has been accorded Deemed University status.
  • It has established links with international institutes.
  • Established MDP and CEP centers offering Management Development programmes, Faculty Development programmes and collaborative courses for working executives.
  • Developed State of Art laboratories in various areas of IT, engineering and management.
  • Developed New models of education delivery and assessment encompassing peer learning, mentoring, self-learning, learning to learn and continuous evaluation have been created.
  • Established the Library resources along with an Electronic library.
  • Institute has acquired the reputation of a national resource.
  • Organized a number of Seminars, Workshops and Conferences.
  • Created a network of relationships with various agencies related to industry and commerce, social and economic development, education and training, and many other organizations engaged in promoting social, economic and technological change, including agencies particularly working for uplifting the under-privileged.
