Hindi Kavi Sammelan was organized in the auditorium in which Dr Vishnu Saxena and Dr Suresh Awasthi participated. They mesmerized the audience with their poems . Dr Ajay Kumar, our faculty member also recited some of his humorous poems .

Oldest hostel(i.e, girls hostel) in IIITM has been given new name"Gangotri". It has selected the pious River for its new name. The Ganges is northern part of Himalaya, Gangotari is the genesus place of Ganga river from where the river rises.
SPIC MACAY- VIRASAT - 2011

Our institute has organized SPIC MACAY Virasat Series which includes classical performances by world class Indian Artists. The series of events will commence from March 24, 2011 with movies as curtain raisers and end with a overnight on 2nd April, 2011.
On the first three days of virasat, movies were showcased as curtain raiser for this grand event. On 24th and 26th March JALSAGHAR, SEVEN SAMURAI and THE GREAT DICTATOR were shown respectively.
